Hi, I’m Tonya Carter, Accredited Cruise Counsellor with CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and the proud founder of Awesome Horizons Travel.
My journey began as a passionate reader, exploring far-off lands through the pages of my favorite books. That love for adventure became real the moment I received my passport and earned my very first stamp—it was the spark that ignited a lifelong passion for travel.
As I started helping friends find amazing vacation deals, I realized how much I enjoyed creating memorable experiences. That natural talent evolved into a full-blown travel career.
In 2012, while seated in my dialysis chair, I turned my dreams into purpose and founded Awesome Horizons Travel. Since then, it’s been a beautiful ride full of sun-soaked beaches, world-class destinations, awe inspiring resorts, romantic getaways, and unforgettable group adventures.
